Lori-lei Tagami
Wesley Children's Program Director
Hi, my name is Lori-Lei Tagami, and I am excited to be the Center Director for the Wesley Children’s Program. I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I took coursework in early childhood education. I have been in the early education field for over 19 years, employed at different public and private programs. I started as an assistant teacher and gradually worked my way up as a teacher, coach/mentor, area manager, and center director. I also served a 4-year term on the Hawaii Association for the Education of Young Children (HiAEYC) board.
I strongly believe in providing children with a healthy, safe, nurturing place to learn and grow. Children learn best when they are provided with
hands-on opportunities relevant for them to explore and discover. I look forward to
leading and working with all of you at the Wesley Children’s Program.
